Guitarist H. Attila Jelinek plays a broad range of music ranging from instrumental guitar tracks to Pop tunes. On his 14 song CD "Guitar Light" he plays guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums, along with producing, and mastering the CD. Guitar Nine Magaine wrote -Jelinek features his guitar playing in some fashion on every cut, something you don't hear in a lot of contemporary, radio-styled tunes. A lot of the instrumental music would fit perfectly as soundtrack music, for film or television - it's got that evocative feel that would suit dramatic or suspenseful material well. Jelinek's also got a really smooth electric guitar style that listeners should find appealing.
ARTIST HISTORY
Born into a musical family in Germany in 1961, Attila began his musical studies early. His father, a Hungarian from Ballaton, financed his studies playing piano, saxophone and guitar in several bands. His German mother sang in several choirs and produced their recordings. Both parents received awards for their music efforts. At the age of eight, Attila began his clarinet studies, and by thirteen, he was a member of an orchestra. Attila later picked up his father's guitar and taught himself how to play, joining his first band at age sixteen. In 1983 he finished his music school studies in classical guitar, and continued further studies attending many workshops and seminars. From 1987 until 2000 Attila taught guitar classes at the Country Music School at Homburg Germany. During that period he worked on several studio projects and presented guitarists at the Music Mess in Frankfurt. In 2000 he began his composing and recording efforts. He has since learned how to play keyboards.
